The Triumph

This nickel plated Triumph in a mahogany banner case sports an aluminum stamped cygnet horn. The Ideal Company patented this model July 23, 1907 and the cost was $7.50. This design pre-dates the Edison Opera and the lightweight, freestanding horn is something of a wonder in that there is no need for a crane to support the horn. The gutta percha elbow of the original horns is often missing when these horns are found today.
