The Columbia Standard A

Introduced in 1908-1920, this machine has a single spring motor with the characteristic Columbia speed control at the front of the machine. This oversized spindle means it will only play 78's with larger diameter holes. This machine has the decal on the front (unlike the B with the decal on the side). This machine often sported a red horn.
