The Graphophone

The Graphophone was made by the Columbia company. This player has a two spring motor and a relatively small internal horn. The doors at the front can be adjusted to control the volume. This model was among the more common and less expensive ones made by any of the early acoustic phonograph companies. This player became mine when a very nice lady abandoned it with me for repairs. She seems to have vanished, so her player is now in my collection!
