The Wurlitzer 600

The Wurlitzer 600 was distrubuted in 1938-1939 and could include a keyboard or rotary selector. A green arrow indicator was included with the keyboard model (in place of the rotary unit). The indicator would indicate which of the 24 selections was playing. The 600 model played one song for five cents, two songs for a dime, and six for a quarter. This model was produced along side the 500 model which was slightly larger and was considered the "Deluxe" model. The company estimates 15,000 of these machines were made and distributed. Both models featured dual switches to create an optional "lights out" when no selections were playing.
