A Collection of Antique Audio Samples

Below are the links to the audio samples from the various machines featured here. To see more about the machines, click the name of the machine itself. To hear the sample of the song, click on the song title. Due to the memory required for audio, and the subsequent delays in downloading, the links will begin the download of about 30 seconds of audio from each selection. If you are interested in more than just this sampling, please email me with your interests. I can be found at RSalsman@inkyfingers.com. Otherwise, please enjoy these samples. Each will take about a minute to download. The best application to replay these Windows Wave format sounds on Mac is Soundapp available at the U of Texas archive.

I will put more samples of audio here as the collection of machines grows. If you have an antique record machine or some rare audio (relating to such machines) please send email to submissions with as much info as you have. If you have the pictures scanned or the audio sampled then attach them too! Thanks!
