January 6, 1997...Syd Barrett's birthday...the first day I knew I was gonna have a son...a son named Thomas. And now I can't get that song from Tommy out of my head. Hey, wasn't Tommy an opera about Syd Barrett...hmmmm.
So, here is the very first picture of my son to be...due about May 14, 1997. Thomas Richard Salsman is about five inches tall and doing quite well thanks. These pictures aren't as clear as Syd's Sonogram, but they are the best we have so far! This page will eventually be TR's page, but, like him, it is pretty well under construction!
Well, that is all you get for now...in a month I will have the sound file of his heart beating, but I couldn't bring myself to look so foolish as to ask the doctor to let me tape it! Next time I will have the nerve to be so foolish...why not.
